BOB'S AFRICAN
PINOTAGE
Ever since falling in love with South Africa, Bob has been on a personal quest to make “the perfect cookout” wine – or “braai wine” as they say in the Cape. Created in 1925, the Pinotage grape was born from the union of Pinot Noir and Cinsault, making a distinctive South African wine. Bob worked with growers to harvest fruit later – with higher sugar levels – resulting in a softer, fruit-driven, less dry wine. “This takes the American backyard cookout to the next level – a hamburger or steak’s best friend. This wine simply rocks! Drinking one bottle with friends is almost impossible – and its good for the globe ta-boot!”
